Manifold is a design that has sparked several commissions and its unusual origin is a story that starts with my idea to use recycled titanium from the motorsport and aerospace industries.

This bracelet is the first in a series of pieces using recycled titanium. Lacking the resources to machine titanium I found there is plenty of fabulous ready machined pieces out there to use.

The titanium at the core of Manifold is anodised a rich gold and is reputed to come from a Formula 1 car, while that makes a good story I have no way to confirm that!

The title of the piece reflects both the automotive source of much of my inspiration and means many and various. This layering of form and meaning is another central theme of my work.
